Who's Invited:

Everyone...If you are under the age of 10 you should have a parent/guardian/youth leader agree to come with you.

What To Expect:

We will be going on a regular cavern tour as well as an adventure tour into the undeveloped cave rooms where we will crawl through cracks, crevices, nooks, and crannies. We will have a guide take us to places where ancient jaguar roamed, moonshine was made, and saltpeter was mined for gunpowder by Confederate soldiers. Plan on spending the night or walking about 275 miles home. There are night-lights for those of you concerned! This is a great trip you won’t soon forget.

What To Bring:

Clothes: The temperature in the cave is a constant 58 degrees Fahrenheit. Which is amazing! When you are moving you won't get cold, but while at the campsite a light jacket is advisable. Jeans or sweat pants, a warm, long-sleeved shirt and old shoes are ideal. You will get muddy, so be sure to bring a change of clothes.

Equipment: A good flashlight with extra batteries is required for each participant. A bottle of water, since there’s no [recommended] drinking water available in the cave [I’ll have plenty to refill you]. You will need a sleeping bag, ground cloth or pad for sleeping. They do not have showers (it is a good idea to bring wet wipes). We do have a toilet, however. Oh, and bring your Bible, a smile and an enthusiastic attitude.

Cost is only $50. Show up at CrossPointe Church on time (11:30am) and having already eaten lunch. See you there!
