Starting Pointe Membership Classes

CrossPointe encourages anyone who attends our Sunday services to commit to a biblically-sound, Gospel-saturated local church. Obviously, we hope regular attendees join CP's body of believers, but we also recognize that the church's culture, doctrine, structure, etc., aren't for everybody.

It's very important to confirm that CP's the right church for you and to explain the type of commitment expected from members. For this reason we offer membership classes twice a year. The membership process involves a three-part class taught over three Sundays and subsequent interviews with our elders (should you choose to join). The next classes are scheduled for March 13, 20 & 27 (all 6-8 p.m.).

To sign up, please e-mail Robert Ward.

No Kids' Church Sunday

All children (1st-5th grades) will be in the sanctuary this Sunday, Feb. 27, instead of going to Kids' Church.

"One Another" Meeting

CrossPointe's members gather every other month for fellowship and "family business." Plan to be there on Sunday, March 6, from 6 to 8 p.m. As always, non-members are welcome to attend.

Men's Lunch Tuesday

All men are invited to lunch at CrossPointe on Tuesday, March 1, at noon. Chick-fil-A boxed lunches will be provided for $5, so please e-mail Reynold Counts if you'll be there. CrossPointe's men meet on the first Tuesday of the month for food, fellowship and teaching.

Youth Activities

Middle School meets every Sunday, 6:30-8 p.m.

High School meets every Wednesday, 6:30-8 p.m.

Winter Jam '11: On Thursday, March 3, join the youth at this local concert featuring David Crowder Band, Skillet and Newsboys. The concert's at the Civic Center, but meet at CrossPointe at 6 p.m. And bring $10!

Connect '11

Registration begins on March 6 for the upcoming women's event, Connect '11, which will take place at CrossPointe on Saturday, March 26, from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Watch for more details soon!

Helping Highland March 5
CrossPointe sends volunteers to help Highland Church serve chicken and rice to the homeless on the first Saturday of each month at 11 a.m. Volunteers also organize Highland's resource center on the first and third Saturdays, 9 a.m.-noon. If you can help with either effort on Saturday, March 5, please e-mail Jenny Smith.
