Staining Party This Saturday
We need volunteers to stain new furniture for our children's classrooms. Join us Saturday, July 24th, from 8 a.m. to noon at Daniel Hord's workshop (1240 Mayo Rd. in Ellerslie). E-mail Daniel to sign up.
Audio-Visual Team Needs Volunteers
The audio-visual team needs volunteers to learn and operate lighting and camera systems in the new sanctuary. E-mail Paul Fincher if interested.
Moving The Pointe This Week
We're moving our office (furniture, equipment, books, etc.) to the new building starting Wednesday, July 28th. It you're interested in helping, please e-mail Hollie Farmer.
Youth in New Building Wednesday
Help set up the youth's space in the new building from 5 to 7:30 p.m. this Wednesday! Yes, there will be pizza.
Greeters Needed
Every Sunday, a team of greeters distributes The Loop and assists visitors at CrossPointe. Volunteers serve one Sunday morning every other month. E-mail Hollie Farmer if you are interested in being a greeter.
Women's Summer Oasis (Sunday)
The next Summer Oasis is this Sunday, July 25th, at 5:30 p.m.! We will have good food and fellowship at Meredith Mobley's home (20258 Ga. Hwy. 315 in Waverly Hall). Feel free to bring a favorite dish to share, but most importantly come and enjoy the company of some awesome women. To RSVP by Saturday, July 24th, e-mail Meredith or call her at 706.573.4537.
Perinatal Hospice Ministry
Sound Choices Pregnancy Clinic has organized a free workshop for potential volunteers on August 24th, 8:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m., at Evangel Temple. The Clinic needs volunteers to support women and families whose unborn children have received adverse diagnoses. Lunch costs $7. Call Robyn at 706.322.5024 if you are interested.
