Fall LifePointe Groups
CrossPointe offers various small groups to foster Christ-centered community among CrossPointe's members and attendees. Click here for an overview of this Fall's groups, which generally start mid-August.
First Sunday at Highland
Jeremy and Samantha Orlich will be leading this Sunday's team at Highland Church's worship service. Volunteers need to be there by 10 a.m. Call Jenny Smith (706-644-2023) to help!
Youth (Middle and High School Students)
MS and HS meet this Wednesday, 6-7:30 p.m., at CrossPointe's new location!
MS students are having a party featuring swimming, volleyball and snacks at Mrs. Louise Davidson's home this Sunday, August 1, 6-7:30 p.m. Her address is 8839 Chattsworth Rd. in Midland. Call Renae Davidson (706-505-7736) for directions or more information.
Student Minister Will Hawk needs about 10 people (preferably adults) to help him paint the new youth room next Monday, August 2, from 9 a.m. to noon. E-mail him if you'd like to help.
Kids Move Up This Sunday
The summer isn't quite over, but our children's Sunday morning activities aren't waiting to advance! 18+ months will move to Toddlers; 2.5+ years to Preschool; 4+ years to Beginner Kids' Church; first-graders to Kids' Church; sixth-graders will no longer be in Kids' Church.
Audio-Visual Team Needs Volunteers
CrossPointe will have lighting and camera systems in the new sanctuary and needs volunteers to operate the new equipment. E-mail Paul Fincher if you would like to learn and help the team.
Greeters Needed
Every Sunday, a team of greeters distributes The Loop and assists visitors at CrossPointe. Volunteers serve one Sunday morning every other month. E-mail Hollie Farmer if you are interested in being a greeter.
Perinatal Hospice Ministry
Sound Choices Pregnancy Clinic has organized a free workshop for potential volunteers on August 24, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., at Evangel Temple. Lunch costs $7. Call Robyn at 706-322-5024 if you are interested.
