Helping Highland (Oct. 2)
On the first Sunday of each month, a team from CrossPointe provides lunch for the Highland Community Church congregation after their worship service. Prayer for Life (Oct. 4)
Come pray for the lives of the unborn at Prayer for Life on Tuesday, Oct. 4. Please sign up for a one-hour shift (between 6 a.m. and 10 p.m.) at a local abortion provider in Rosemont Shopping Center (3744 Woodruff Rd., Columbus). Contact Lincoln Brandenburg (mobettah26[at]gmail[dot]com).
Men’s Lunch (Oct. 4) & Women’s Lunch (Oct. 11)
All men and women meet at CrossPointe once a month for food, fellowship and teaching. (Chick-fil-A caters for $5 each.) RSVP to Reynold Counts (reynold[at]insidecrosspointe[dot]com) for the Men’s Lunch on Oct. 4 at noon or Amy Landeg (amy[at]insidecrosspointe[dot]com) for the Ladies’ Lunch on Oct. 11 at noon. And, yes, there will be childcare for moms!
Night of Worship (Oct. 7)
CrossPointe is holding a night of worship on Friday, Oct. 7, at 7 p.m. In addition to singing together, there will also be a time for prayer. Childcare will be provided for small children, but feel free to bring the family and enjoy worshipping together!
Youth Activities
Middle School meets Sundays, 6:30–8 p.m.
High School meets Wednesdays, 6:30–8 p.m.
Sound Choices Gala (Oct. 11)
CrossPointe has reserved several tables for Sound Choices Pregnancy Clinic’s Reflections Gala on Tuesday, Oct. 11, at 6:30 p.m. The gala will be a the Columbus Convention & Trade Center. Please contact Amy Landeg (amy[at]insidecrosspointe[dot]com) if you’d like to sit at one of our tables!
Baptism Class (Oct. 16)
Water baptism is a symbol of the Christian’s unity with Christ in death to sin and renewed life to God. On Sunday, October 30, CrossPointe will have water baptisms during the worship service. Anyone considering baptism must attend this class on Oct. 16 (6:30 p.m.). If you plan on attending, please contact Robert Ward (robert[at]insidecrosspointe[dot]com).
Potluck Dinner (Nov. 5)
On Saturday, Nov. 5, starting at 4 p.m. CrossPointe will have a church-wide potluck dinner at the home of Daniel & Jenny Hord in Ellerslie. The barbecue will be provided, but everyone is asked to bring a side dish. Please contact Amy Landeg (amy[at]insidecrosspointe[dot]com) by Oct. 29 if you’ll be there!
