“One Another” Meeting Sunday
CrossPointe’s members gather every other month for fellowship and “family business.” Plan to be there this Sunday, Nov. 6, from 6 to 8 p.m. In particular, we will receive new members as a church, go over the latest financial report and learn about the various missions efforts of our Turkey team, Laura Lea Duncan, Shelby Jefcoat and Molly Brandenburgh. We’ll also update everyone about upcoming changes to our small group format.
As always, non-members are welcome to attend. Childcare will also be provided.

Potluck Dinner (Saturday)
Don’t forget that tomorrow, Nov. 5, starting at 4 p.m. CrossPointe will have a church-wide potluck dinner at the home of Daniel & Jenny Hord in Ellerslie (1240 Mayo Rd.). The barbecue will be provided, but everyone is asked to bring a side dish.
Ladies’ Lunch (Nov. 8)
CrossPointe’s women meet once a month for food, fellowship and teaching. (Chick-fil-A caters for $5 each!) Please to RSVP for the Ladies’ Lunch on Tuesday, Nov. 8, at noon. And, yes, there will be childcare for moms!
Adoption/Orphan Care 101 (Nov. 13)
Next Sunday, Nov. 13, from 6:30 to 8 p.m., CrossPointe will host a local seminar on adoption and orphan care. by Nov. 9 if you’ll need childcare. And be sure to visit CrossPointe’s webpage devoted to adoption and orphan care resources.
“Buddy” Ministry Meeting (Nov. 13)
CrossPointe is building a team of “buddies” for children with special needs on Sunday mornings. Ideally multiple volunteers would alternate Sundays serving the same child. A short training session (including lunch) will be held on Sunday, Nov. 13, after the service. This meeting is for anyone interested, regardless of experience. RSVP by .
Haiti Trip 2012
CrossPointe is returning to Haiti in early 2012 to continue construction at a children’s home, work which began with our recent visit last July. The trip will require manual labor but not expertise. Please if you have any interest in joining the team.
Oldies But Goodies
The “Oldies but Goodies,” a group for anyone over 50, will meet for lunch on Sunday, Nov. 29, at Becky Prielozney’s home (7011 Springwalk Dr., Columbus). The meal will cost $5 per person. If you’ll be there, by Nov. 15.
