Eric Peters to Speak Sunday

This weekend our guest speaker will be Eric Peters, International Director of Pioneers, which is a missions organization that mobilizes teams to glorify God among unreached peoples by initiating church-planting movements in partnership with local churches. Eric and his wife Ellen have been missionaries with Pioneers for many years in several different countries. They now live in Southeast Asia and oversee all of Pioneers’ international efforts.
On Friday night Eric will give a brief talk followed by a time of corporate prayer for the nations. On Saturday, Ellen will speak at a brunch for the women and Eric will be speaking to the youth around lunchtime. Then, on Saturday night we’ll have a barbecue dinner cooked by our own Jim Money followed by a message from Eric. On Sunday morning, Eric will be preaching a message geared toward our responsibility as a church to reach the nations. I cannot tell you how excited I am to have the Peters with us. They are a gift to the body of Christ and we are blessed to have them with us! I hope you will be able to make as many (if not all!) of the events this weekend as you can.
