Dear CrossPointe,

This Sunday we’ll look at the second half of Paul’s introduction, Romans 1:5–7. It’s amazing how much truth Paul could pack into a few sentences. In particular, he says that the purpose of his ministry was “to bring about the obedience of faith.” Then, sixteen chapters later, he ends with this same phrase—“to bring about the obedience of faith.” I think understanding what Paul means by this phrase is critical to understanding Romans (and the whole of the Christian life).

I’m looking forward to unpacking it together with you Sunday. We’ll also come to the Lord’s Table together as a church family. I’m looking forward to it!

Grace and peace,

Brad
