Dear CrossPointe,

This week we jump back into Romans 4, specifically vv13–15. Paul makes a spectacular statement in verse thirteen when he says the promise to Abraham and his offspring goes far beyond just the physical land of Canaan but rather encompasses the whole world! This may seem like an obscure thought in the middle of Paul’s argument about justification by faith, but the implications are enormous if we see the point he’s making. If we have faith in Christ then our inheritance is mind-bogglingly wonderful and should change everything about how we live.

Take some time to read Romans 4 before Sunday. You’ll also be helped if you read Galatians 3:15–29.

Children’s Ministry Move-up (This Sunday) || Starting June 4, Room 10 will be for pre-K, Room 11 for K, and Kids’ Church will be adding 1st grade. Kids will also advance to the next classroom based on the grade they’ll enter this Fall.

VBS (9 a.m.–12:30 p.m., daily, June 26–30) || Join us this summer for Galactic Starveyors! Registration is open to all rising K–5th grade students.

Men’s Lunch (June 6, noon) || Join the men of CrossPointe for food ($5 Chick-fil-A) and fellowship while one of our own teaches from God’s Word. RSVP to Springer Cain!

Child Dedication (June 25) || If you are a member of CrossPointe and would like to dedicate your newborn or newly adopted child to the Lord on Sun., June 25, please contact Robert Ward.

MWF (June 21–July 28) || Mark your calendars for six weeks of study as a few of the younger men of the church teach through different texts of Scripture! Dinner ($5/person) will start at 5:45 p.m., followed by teaching at 6:30 p.m.

“One Another” Member Meeting (July 9, 6–7:30 p.m.) || Every other month the members of CrossPointe gather for fellowship, prayer, and updates pertaining to church life! Childcare is always provided.

Tech Team Volunteers Needed || We’re always looking for reliable and tech-savvy volunteers to assist with Sunday morning tech needs (sound, video, ProPresenter, etc.). For more information, please contact Brandon Barnes!

Baby Bottle Boomerang (May 14–June 18) || Support the work of Sound Choices Pregnancy Clinic by taking a bottle (available in the foyer) and filling it with change, cash, or checks. Be sure to bring it back (and grab another!) by June 18.
