Dr. Crawford Loritts Preaching (Oct. 16) || Mark your calendar for our guest preacher on Sunday, Oct. 16. Dr. Loritts is the senior pastor of Fellowship Bible Church in Roswell, Ga., and a council-member of the Gospel Coalition.

Ladies’ Lunch (Oct. 18, noon) || The women of CrossPointe meet every third Tuesday for lunch ($5 Chicken Salad Chick) and fellowship as we study Jerry Bridges’ The Transforming Power of the Gospel together. Childcare begins at 10 a.m. RSVP for food and/or childcare by e-mailing Molly Copley.

MWF: “Hard Sayings of the Bible” (Wed., 5:45–7:30 p.m., Oct. 5–Nov. 9) || Join us for six weeks of tough, even (seemingly) contradictory truths found in Scripture. Dinner ($5/person) starts at 5:45 p.m., followed by teaching at 6:30. There will be childcare as well. RSVP for dinner and/or childcare by contacting Molly Copley.

Child Dedication (Oct. 30; class, Oct. 23) || If you would like to dedicate to the Lord your newborn or newly adopted child during the worship service on Oct. 30, please contact Robert Ward. There is a prerequisite class the Sunday before (Oct. 23 at 9 a.m.) in Classroom A.

Missions Conference (Nov. 13, 6 p.m.) & Dinner (Nov. 16, 5:45 p.m.) || Save the date(s)! Jeff Barkhouse will be speaking at our conference as we consider how our church family can encourage missionaries we support. Then, on the following Wednesday, we’ll enjoy dinner together and spend time in prayer for missions efforts around the world.
