Sunday: Rom 8:14-17 + Adoption Round Table

This Sunday, Wayne Shealy will preach through Romans 8:14–17, an important text on the nature of the Christian’s relationship to God the Father—adoption.

Then, on Sunday night CrossPointe will host a round table to help us consider how Christians can live this out by caring for orphans through foster-care and adoption. If you are personally interested in adopting/fostering or would like to better support those who are, please attend this event at 6–7:30 p.m., Sunday night. Childcare will be available. Ladies’ Lunch (Oct. 21, noon) || The women of CrossPointe meet on the third Tuesday of the month. Childcare is provided starting at 10 a.m., and lunch from Chick-fil-A is $5. Contact Nicole Carey to sign up!

Midweek Fellowship (Oct. 22) || Dinner starts at 5:45 p.m., followed by teaching on the beliefs of various religions and how to respond to them (this week: Hinduism & Buddhism) at 6:30 p.m. Meals cost $5, and childcare is also provided. Children’s Ministry Training (Nov. 2, 9 a.m.) || Serve CrossPointe’s families by ministering to children, newborn through fifth grade! Sign up for our next training (in Classroom B) by completing a card found in the seat in front of you or by contacting Nicole Carey.

KidKeepers Wanted || KidKeepers are paid volunteers who care for children on-site at church events. You must meet the same qualifications as Children’s Ministry servants. Contact Nicole Carey for more information.

Men’s Study: Bible Overview (Tuesdays, Starting Nov. 4) || Become more familiar with the big picture of the Bible over the course of six weeks. Brad Evangelista will teach the class on Tuesdays at two different times—7–8 a.m. or 12–1 p.m.—whichever one you can attend. Contact Brad to sign up!
