CrossPointe Outreach
For: This group is for anyone who has a heart and hands for service.
Description: The point is this: whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows bountifully will also reap bountifully (2 Corinthians 9:6). We will be getting involved with reaching out to the Community by serving on the Chicken and Rice mission at Highland Community Church one Saturday per month. In addition, there will be opportunities to serve other Christian and service-based organizations that are yet to be determined.

CrossPointe Women’s Prayer Group
For: Women of CrossPointe of all ages
Description: CrossPointe Women want to grow in their prayer life! So let’s do it! Let’s challenge each other by praying for one another. We will break up into small groups of 3-5 women and decide on four women of CP for whom each group will be praying for throughout the month. This is a great opportunity to get to know women in the tribe and be able to pray for their specific needs.

Description: This group will eat dinner regularly, go to a sporting event, have a game night, and get to know one another.

Brooks Home Fellowship
For: Families
Description: A fellowship group for families. Typical evening will be dinner/fellowship time followed by family fun time and group devotional / prayer for school age and older. Childcare for infants, toddlers provided in house. Married couples and single parents welcome. Limit approximately 8-10 families.

Tiny Talk Fellowship Group

Description: Join us as we meet with other new or expecting parents. It will be a time for reflection on the Sunday sermon, food, fun, fellowship and prayer time together. We openly discuss parenting issues and support each other with prayer. This will be a great opportunity for us to get to know one another; we hope you’ll join us!

STUDY GROUPS
Daniel Bible Study
For: Women of any age
Description: The study of Daniel looks at the life of Daniel and the unbelievable pressure he was under to compromise his faith. Daniel was constantly confronted with temptations and threats. This 12 week study is broken into two parts. The first six weeks deals with Daniel’s life as he faced the pressures and temptations Christians encounter today. The second six weeks explores the thrilling prophecies from the time of Daniel through the second coming of Christ.

Biblical Parenting
For: Most helpful for families who have newborns through elementary age, or plan to have them within 1-2 years.
Description: Feel frustrated about your parenting? Do you and your spouse ever disagree about how to treat the children? Do you wonder why kids didn’t come with an instruction manual? The Bible gives great advice on parenting. This is a 13-week progressive study, so attendance is expected as much as possible. We will meet to study, to discuss, and to pray together as we attempt the essential, rewarding, and monumental task of being a Godly parent.
