We are a church of real people on a real journey toward a real God. We don’t pretend to have all the answers but we are certain that the answers to all of life’s questions are found in the truth of Jesus Christ. This truth isn’t just for a select few, but rather it is for everybody.

CrossPointe may be a new church, but there is nothing new about what we believe. We affirm and practice the beliefs and traditions of the historic Christian faith. Although we may tailor our manner of worship and ministry to fit the context of our culture, we stand firmly on the eternal truth of the Bible and the foundations of classical Christianity.

We believe that God has called CrossPointe to be a community that makes the Good News of Jesus Christ plain so that all can respond. We are not out to build an environment that is comfortable for us, but rather one that is pleasing to God. It is our belief that authentic life transformation occurs primarily in the context of small community - where an atmosphere of love abounds. Thus, you’ll notice at CrossPointe that our worship gatherings have a casual feel, are easy to understand and take part in, and that the emphasis isn’t just on one Sunday gathering, but also on our smaller groups throughout the week.

Each environment at CrossPointe, whether it is children’s church, a small group in a home or the large worship gathering on Sunday, encourages people to pursue:

• Intimacy with God - God wants us to know Him! What an amazing thought that the God of the universe wants a personal and intimate relationship with us! At CrossPointe each person is encouraged to pursue such a relationship with God by reading the Bible, engaging in worship and prayer, and fellowshipping with other Christians.
  
• Interdependence with each other - None of us live on an island. We need each other. As Christians, we are part of the whole body of Christ and thus greatly value community. God created us for fellowship, with Him and each other. Sustained life transformation most often takes place within the context of a supportive smaller community. At CrossPointe each person is encouraged to be part of a smaller group, not just attend on Sunday mornings.
  
• Influence on our culture - We believe that Jesus Christ is the Way, the Truth, and the Life. Thus, we are compelled by His love to share this Good News with our culture. The emphasis is on personal or relational evangelism rather than mass appeals in large group settings. It is the responsibility of all Christians, not just vocational ministers, to spread the message of the Gospel. At CrossPointe, each person is encouraged to take their part in the great responsibility and privilege of sharing the Good News of Jesus Christ!
