Brad Evangelista || E-mail
Lead Pastor/Elder
Originally from California, Brad moved to the Columbus area after graduating from the United States Military Academy at West Point in 1993. He met his wife, Jennifer, while stationed at Fort Benning, Ga. Since marrying in 1994, he and Jennifer have had four children.
He received a Master’s of Divinity from the King’s Seminary in 2006. Brad has been in pastoral ministry since 1998.

Reynold Counts || E-mail
Elder, Administration
In addition to being one of CrossPointe’s elders, Reynold helps oversee the church’s finances. He also serves the church with his teaching and leadership. In particular, he enjoys ministering to men and young couples.
Originally from the Atlanta area, he and his wife, Danielle, have two sons.
Reynold received his bachelor’s degree from Berry College in Rome, Ga., and later obtained a master’s degree from Georgia State University. In addition to serving the church, Reynold works for Pfizer Pharmaceuticals.

Paul Fincher || E-mail
Pastor
Paul coordinates the music, media and tech team during CrossPointe’s Sunday worship services. In addition to leading the team, he plays guitar and sings. Paul’s leadership and many gifts are a blessing to CrossPointe.
He and his wife, Becca (also on staff), were married in 2007.
He received his bachelor’s in Communications from Columbus State University and master’s in business management from Troy University. In addition to serving the church, Paul works for Cricket Wireless.

Will Hawk || E-mail
Pastor
Will’s primary focus is CrossPointe’s children and youth. He desires to reach students where they are and lead them in a dynamic relationship with Jesus Christ by preparing them not only to withstand the world but to impact it for the gospel.
He and his wife, Karan Anne, have considerable experience in youth ministry. Since being married in 2005, the two have two boys.
Will received his bachelor’s from Columbus State University and is currently a student at Reformed Theological Seminary in Atlanta. He has been in youth ministry for more than 10 years.

Wayne Shealy || E-mail
Pastor
Wayne helps oversee pastoral care & counseling, spiritual formation & discipleship and oversight of our children’s rooms.
He and his wife, Beth, are from South Carolina, where they both graduated from Clemson University. The two married in 2003 and have two daughters.
Wayne has served various churches as well as Clemson’s chapter of Cru, and he holds master’s degrees in Divinity and Theology from the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. He is a candidate for Doctor of Philosophy in Systematic Theology there as well.

Robert Ward || E-mail
Assistant Pastor
Having been “the intern” at CrossPointe for several summers, Robert now serves alongside the other pastors, edits documents and organizes various classes.
He also leads the church’s young adults (the 18–25 years old variety).
Robert graduated from the University of Georgia in 2010 with a bachelor’s in Public Relations. He and his wife, Sigourney, have been married since May 2011.

Church Administrator
He and his wife, Laura Susan, have been members of CrossPointe since 2007, both faithfully serving the church, Springer being our deacon for missions.
Springer’s oversees all things administrative in addition to pastoral assistance and input. Along those lines, he has begun in-house pastoral training with the goal of becoming one of our pastors.

Rebecca Fincher || E-mail
Accounting
Rebecca and her husband, Paul, have been part of CrossPointe since its beginning. She now serves the church by managing finances and our children’s nursery.
Born and raised in Columbus, she graduated from Columbus State University in 2007 with a bachelor’s in Accounting. She and Paul have been married since 2007.

Christy Barnes || E-mail
Children's Ministry Coordinator
Christy and her husband, Brandon, have been involved with CrossPointe from the beginning.
She oversees the Children's Ministry activities on Sunday mornings. She also coordinates room directors and teachers for the children.

Sigourney Ward || E-mail
Administrative Assistant
Sigourney is the “face” of CrossPointe’s office during the week, managing various administrative duties for the pastors and staff.
Originally from Cataula, Sigourney also attended school at Columbus State (‘11). She and her husband, Robert, have been members of CP for several years.
