Children’s Ministry Volunteer Training (July 21) || If you would like to help with children’s ministry at CrossPointe and have not attended our volunteer orientation, please attend the next one on Sunday, July 21, at 9 a.m. Contact Christy Barnes for more information or to sign up.

Summer Youth Calendar || High-school and middle-school students meet together on Wednesdays, 6:30–7:30 p.m. Upcoming: HS pool party—Raborns’, July 28; MS pool party—Darrahs’, July 21.

Midweek Fellowship (July 24) || Join us for dinner and teaching on Wednesdays through the end of July. Dinner ($5) starts at 5:45 p.m. and the teaching at 6:30 p.m. There is children’s and youth ministry as well. RSVP by contacting Sigourney Ward or completing a Connection Card.

Kits 4 Kids (July 26) || Kits 4 Kids collects school supplies for students in need. This year individuals and Community Groups are encouraged to donate money to Highland Church to purchase the items needed. Checks can be brought to CrossPointe’s office or left in the offering baskets.

Student Baptism Class (July 28 @ 6–7:30 p.m.) || CrossPointe intentionally baptizes those who exercise faith in Christ, which in children can be difficult to discern. Parents of school-aged children are invited to attend this class on Sunday, July 28, which will further explore child baptism and help parents encourage their children in the faith. Children’s Ministry Move-Up (Aug. 4) || Upcoming first-graders will advance from the Orange Room to Kids’ Church on Sunday, Aug. 4. As a reminder, all other classrooms advance by age year-round.

Meet & Greet (Aug. 11) || Immediately after the service on Sunday, Aug. 11, newcomers to CrossPointe are invited to join the pastoral staff in Classroom B (door on the far right of the sanctuary) for a brief “meet & greet.” Community Group leaders are encouraged to attend as well!

Labor Day Picnic (Sept. 2) || Mark your calendars for a church-wide picnic late in the afternoon on Monday, Sept. 2, at Flat Rock Park. Look for more details in the coming weeks!

CrossCon (Dec. 27–30) || Cross Conference is a missions conference specifically for college students and other young adults. If you are interested in going with a group from CrossPointe, please contact Nick Bruner. For more information, visit crosscon.com.
