Dear CrossPointe,

Isn't it true that the greatest things in life are worth the wait? As we’ll see this Sunday, often God uses waiting to increase our joy, dependence on him, and the ensuing glory of his name. We’ll spend some time in Acts 3 as well as Isaiah 64 as we think more about this on Sunday, so read through those texts once or twice to get an idea of where we’ll be going!

Register Today for Vacation Bible School (July 11–15, 9 a.m.–noon) || Mark your calendar for VBS! It will be open to rising K–5th graders for a suggested donation of $20, the proceeds of which will support Clement Arts. To register your child(ren), click here.

Men’s Lunch (July 5, noon) || Join us on the first Tuesday of every month for lunch ($5 Chick-fil-A) and fellowship as we study Jerry Bridges’ The Transforming Power of the Gospel together. RSVP to Springer Cain.

MWF (July 6, 5:45–7:30 p.m.) || Learn about the Holy Spirit and related topics! Dinner ($5/person) will start at 5:45 p.m., followed by teaching at 6:30. Contact Molly Copley to RSVP for food and childcare.

Children’s Ministry Training (July 10, 9 a.m.) || We need roughly 30 people to start serving in order to be fully “staffed” on Sunday mornings! (Volunteers serve only 8–10 times/year.) Ask a Children’s Ministry Room Lead for an application today or just e-mail Cristin Wise to sign up.

“One Another” Member Meeting (July 10, 6–7:30 p.m.) || Every other month, CrossPointe’s members gather to discuss matters pertinent to church life, pray for one another, and affirm new members. Childcare is always available, and non-members are welcome to attend.

Child Dedication (July 24; class, July 17, 9 a.m.) || If you would like to dedicate to the Lord your newborn or newly adopted child during the worship service on July 24, please contact Robert Ward. There is a prerequisite class the Sunday before (July 17 at 9 a.m.) in Classroom A.
