This Sunday: “Jesus on Eternity”
It’s good to be home! We had a great week with King Jesus Church in Uganda but I’m looking forward to seeing you this Sunday. We’ll finish up our series “Jesus on the Christian Life” with a look at what Jesus has to say about heaven and hell. To help us do that, we’ll consider Jesus’ parable about judgement and eternity in Matthew 25:31–46.
We live in a world that lives for the moment and thinks very little of the future, let alone eternity. But the Bible is clear that we don’t just live once for 80 or 90 years. Rather, we will all live forever either with the Lord or separated from him in judgement. This is very sobering, and something that Jesus talked about a lot. Be sure to read the passage a time or two before Sunday and come ready to dig into it together.
Also, if you missed Tyler’s excellent message from last week, “Jesus on Missions,” you can listen to it here.
See you Sunday!
