Up to this point in Nehemiah, the challenges faced have been external. But in Nehemiah 5:1-19 we read about internal strife amongst the people. The lesson for us today is clear. Our greatest challenges as a church lie within our four walls. Will we be people that live out the "one another" commands of the Scriptures and thus give Jesus much glory, or will we be dominated by self-absorption and petty insecurities?
