We never get to a point in our walk with Christ where remembering our meager beginnings loses its benefit. It is only from that humble position that we can rightly appreciate God's work of grace on our behalf and indeed within us. And, it is this merciful work which spurs us on to good deeds, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them.
