Text: Colossians 2:16-23
Intro: In this message on Colossians 2:16-23, we take a look at the difference between the shadows of self-made religion compared to the substance of Christ and His Gospel. We often dismiss religion as the cranky old church down the road, but in reality, we are all religious in that we attempt to self-justify through our own merit and works. In this passage, the Apostle Paul warns us to not fall into the deceptive trap of self-justification and lifeless legalism, but rather to hold fast to the Head, which is Christ.
