"Just Do Something" - a book recommendation
One of the questions I am asked most often is "How can I know God's will for my life?" There's a lot to that question, and just throwing a book recommendation at it won't suffice as a complete answer. But, let me recommend a short and easy to read book to any that might be grappling with that question as part of an answer.
It's called Just Do Something: A Liberating Approach to Finding God's Will, written by a pastor named Kevin DeYoung. Click on the title and it will take you to the Amazon link.
I just got this book a few days ago. I haven't finished it yet but what I've read so far is very solid and practical. I especially appreciated and got a chuckle out of the subtitle of the book: "How to make a decision without dreams, visions, fleeces, impressions, open doors, random bible verses, casting lots, liver shivers, writing in the sky, etc."
Let me know if you read and what you think.
