“Resurrection Hope”

As Christians we believe that every word of the Bible is divinely inspired and profitable for teaching, reproof, correction and training in righteousness. Even still there are portions of Scripture that stand above the rest like a great mountain. In 1 Corinthians 15, Paul shows how the whole of the Bible rests on the reality of the resurrection of Christ. Simply put, without the resurrection, there is no Gospel. Without the resurrection, we have no hope.
I discussed the first eleven verses around Easter (listen), so this Sunday we will unpack 1 Corinthians 15:12-34 and examine the great hope of the resurrection. I'm really looking forward to getting back into this beautiful book with you.

Here are a few things you can do to prepare your heart for Sunday:
- Read 1 Corinthians 15:1-34.
- Read the Gospel accounts of the resurrection (Matthew 28:1-10, Mark 16:1-9, Luke 24:1-12, John 20:1-10).
- Pray for God to stir our affection for Jesus, his work on the Cross, and his people.
