“The Wonder of the Trinity” (Eph. 1:1-14)

Dear Tribe,

After a two week break in which we celebrated the gospel through baptism and adoption, we’ll be back in Ephesians this Sunday. Specifically, we’ll marvel at the beautiful picture of the Father, Son and Spirit displayed in
Ephesians 1:1-14.

Some may wonder if we really need to think deeply about the doctrine of the Trinity. I think we must! Seeing God as he reveals himself in Scripture is at the core of what it means to be a Christian. So, take some time to read Ephesians 1:1-14 a few times, noting in particular the activity of each member of the Trinity. Pray for God to change us and make us more like Christ, and pray for unbelievers to pass from death to life this Sunday.
