The introductions to Paul’s letters are so rich, and Romans is no exception! In our text this week, Romans 1:8–15, we get a glimpse of how Paul views the Christian life. It’s a life full of thankfulness to God for other people and their faith. It’s a life that is bound together with other Christians whom we serve and who serve us. And it’s a life of obligation to deliver the same grace we’ve so freely received.
I’m really eager to dig into this text with you! Chew on it before Sunday. Ask God to stir your affections. Consider whom you can encourage when we meet. Pray for God to do beautiful and eternal things in us as we gather!
