Announcements, Oct. 2, 2015
This Sunday we’ll take a break from the Sermon on the Mount as Will Hawk preaches on Matthew 4:1–11. Understanding the truths in this text about Jesus’ temptation in the wilderness are essential to our fight against sin and pursuit of holiness. Read it a few times before Sunday and come ready to lean into God’s Word.
Also, remember this Wednesday we’ll restart Midweek Fellowship with a five-week series on how Christians should think biblically about several current cultural issues. First we’ll consider the topic of homosexuality and what the Bible says about human sexuality, the purpose of marriage, sin and redemption.
