Announcements, Sept. 9, 2016

Dear CrossPointe,

Paul’s first letter to Timothy is more than just instructions on how to organize and lead a local church. Beyond the practical instruction is a glimpse into the purpose and plan of God to display his glory to an onlooking world through the church. So, the ‘how’ and ‘who’ of church leadership is critically important. That is the issue at hand in our text this Sunday, 1 Timothy 3:1–13, in which Paul gives instructions on the qualifications for elders and deacons.

Take some time to read the text before Sunday a few times and come ready to worship our great God and King. Looking forward to it!

Grace and peace,

Brad
