Communion: the Richest Feast on Earth

For centuries Christians have gathered together regularly to remember the most important event in history by eating bread and drinking wine (or grape juice). It’s a little peculiar, but somehow this meal is at the very heart of the Gospel.
This Sunday we’ll look at one of the most important and informative passages regarding communion, 1 Corinthians 11:17-34. Here are a few Scriptures to meditate on as you consider the richest feast on earth:

- Matthew 26:26-29 (the Last Supper)
- Isaiah 25 (pointing toward the Great Feast)
