This Sunday: “All Who Call on Him”

Dear CrossPointe,

I’m looking forward to digging into Romans 10:5–13 with you and coming to the Lord’s Table together on this first Sunday in October. In our text, Paul uses the Old Testament (specifically Leviticus 18:5 and Deuteronomy 30:11–14) to show the futility of pursuing righteousness by law-keeping rather than by faith in Christ. We’ll also spend some time trying to rightly understand a well-known passage about confessing with your mouth and believing in your heart and what it all means. Read the text and let’s lean forward together this Sunday!

Reformation Columbus (Oct. 27, 9 a.m.–3 p.m.) || St. Andrews Presbyterian Church is hosting this year’s conference as Voddie Baucham and Nate Shurden discuss what it means for Scripture to be enough. Tickets will cost $30/adult and $10/child, and lunch is included. Childcare will be available. If you’re interested in volunteering, we do need six people to serve as well. Register online.
