This Sunday: “Irrevocable, Unstoppable Mercy”

Dear CrossPointe,

This Sunday we’ll look at the culmination of Paul’s point that God is not done with ethnic Israel as we look at Romans 11:25–32. There’s a lot in this passage, including a few verses we’ll need to work through carefully (i.e., What does it mean that all Israel will be saved in v26?). But the overarching point I’m eager for us to see in this text is the truth of God’s irrevocable, unstoppable mercy. Paul says in v29, “the gifts and calling of God are irrevocable.” We’ll unpack what that means and then consider how this applies to us today. I’m hoping our time in the Word together will encourage us in the Lord, and I’m looking forward to seeing you all Sunday!

Grace and peace,

Brad
