This Sunday with Conrad Mbewe

Dear CrossPointe,

Well, we finally did it! Last Sunday we wrapped up our long series through the magnificent letter to the Romans. What a letter! What a gospel! What a Savior! I trust this sermon series was an encouragement to you and helped us all understand the gospel in a deeper way. It certainly was to me.

Now to this Sunday. I am so excited about our guest preacher, Dr. Conrad Mbewe. He is the pastor of Kabwata Baptist Church in Lusaka, Zambia, and an internationally known and respected preacher. His teaching has blessed me for years as I've had opportunity to hear him in conference settings. We are so privileged to have him with us and I am eager for the people and church I love so much to hear from this gifted servant of God.

He will preach in our morning service, and then we are also planning an evening service at 6 p.m. Several other sister churches will join us for this service so I encourage you come out again in the evening and hear from Pastor Mbewe.

Finally, let me say a word about how incredible our VBS has been this week! The church has been full of kids hearing about the gospel and so many of you have labored tirelessly this week (and in weeks prior!) to bring it about. Thank you volunteers and praise God for the gospel seeds sown this wee! May they bear much fruit!

In Christ,

Brad
