Welcoming Tyler & Chelsi Kirkpatrick to CrossPointe!

Dear CrossPointe,

As you all know, we are very excited about the plan to start a new church with Will Hawk in 2018. Preparations are well underway for this effort, which we anticipate will take place in the Summer and early Fall. As part of this plan, we have undertaken a search to fill the eventual void on our pastoral staff after Will transitions to the new church. 

To that end, we are thrilled to announce the hiring of Tyler Kirkpatrick to our pastoral staff. Tyler, along with his wife, Chelsi, and their two boys, Max and Calvin, currently reside in Louisville, Kentucky, where Tyler is in the final stages of completing his Master of Divinity degree at the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary.

The plan is for the Kirkpatricks to move to Columbus in early January. After getting settled, Tyler will work closely alongside Will in youth ministry, getting to know the students, parents, and youth leaders, and eventually taking the reins in early Spring, which will allow Will to devote his efforts exclusively to final preparations for the church plant. 

We are very excited about the Kirkpatricks and what they will add to our ministry team. Tyler brings a very solid combination of theological depth, youth-ministry experience, and military service to the table. Likewise, Chelsi is a graduate of Moody Bible Institute in Chicago and will be a tremendous blessing to the young women in our church. 

I can’t wait to introduce them to you in person in early January!
