There They Crucified Him

Dear CrossPointe,

I’m very excited about this weekend! We’re hosting Dr. Hershael and Tanya York who will be conducting a marriage conference for approximately seventy-five couples in our church. Dr. York is the pastor of Buck Run Baptist Church in Frankfort, Kentucky, and also serves as the Dean of the School of Theology at the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville, Kentucky. You can read more about his ministry here. It will be a real delight to hear from this brother who is well-known in our circles as an excellent and fruitful preacher of God’s Word. Please pray that the York’s ministry among us will be used by God to strengthen, mature, and grow marriages at CrossPointe. 

Let me also say that it has been wonderful to see so many new faces recently! If CrossPointe is home for you, let me encourage you to be on the lookout for people you don’t know who may be very new to the church or visiting for the first time. Show up a few minutes early, and leave a little late. Don’t let anyone sit by themselves. Come ready to give, bless, and encourage.
