He Is Able to Save to the Uttermost

We’re deep into our author’s argument for the superiority of Jesus’ priesthood over the Levitical priesthood as we consider Hebrews 7:11–25. It’s not complicated logic, but you must read it slowly and thoughtfully to get his point. So, we’re going to work through it on Sunday and then drop our buckets into the glorious gospel well of v.25, "Consequently, he is able to save to the uttermost those who draw near to God through him, since he always lives to make intercession for them." What a sentence!
