Don't Drift

Dear CrossPointe,
Hebrews is not so much a letter as it is one long sermon. The preacher is marshaling all this glorious theology to make a pastoral point to his audience—don't fall away, don't drift from Christ.
This Sunday, we come to Hebrews 2:1–4, the first of several warning passages in the book. The writer encourages us to pay much closer attention to the message of Jesus and warns us not to neglect such a great salvation.
So, this Sunday, we will dig into the text and think about our great salvation, why it is so worth our attention, and what makes us prone to drift from it. I pray our time will serve to strengthen, convict, and encourage us.
In Christ,
Brad
