Help My Unbelief

Dear CrossPointe,

I've really been helped and challenged by our summer series, “Follow Jesus.” This Sunday, we continue by looking at one of the most encouraging scenes in all the gospels—the account of the man who brings his son to Jesus in Mark 9:14–29. Please spend a few minutes before we gather to read this text for yourself. Note all the obstacles this man faced. Note also how honest he is with Jesus. And most importantly, note how Jesus responds to his imperfect faith. This encounter with the Lord is so beautiful. I’m looking forward to feasting on it with you.
