His Way Is Through the Sea

Dear CrossPointe, 

We are going to pause the Hebrews series as we enter summer, and the plan is to dig into some selected texts for the coming weeks. This Sunday, we’ll dive into Psalm 77, a chapter I have been lingering on for several weeks. It is an honest reflection on life’s difficulties while also raising our hearts and minds to the centrality of the Cross. Specifically, we’ll reflect on Psalm 77:19, where Asaph says, “Your way was through the sea.” Certainly, he’s referring to the Lord rescuing Israel at the Red Sea, but I believe this phrase is also a summary of the Christian life. I’m looking forward to dwelling on it with you!
