Lights In the World

Dear CrossPointe,

What a joy to have our dear friends, Gareth and Keri Franks, with us this weekend. They are no strangers to CrossPointe! We began our ministry partnership with them when they were missionaries in India. Since then, they have moved to Abu Dhabi in the United Arab Emirates, where Gareth is the pastor of New Life Church. Gareth will preach this Sunday for us out of Philippians 2:12–18 with a message entitled, “Lights in the World.”

Of the many things I love about CrossPointe, near the top of the list is our love for the nations and helping to send and support gospel work in hard places. That’s why I’m so eager to have this dear couple with us again. The Franks have had a long and fruitful ministry in difficult places, and I’m very thankful the Lord linked up CrossPointe with them years ago. Spend some time reading Philippians 2:12–18 a time or two before Sunday, and pray the Lord would do wonderful, eternal things among us as we gather.
