Our Helper, the Spirit of Truth

Dear Church,

We heard a very solid message from Robert last week on John 14:1–14. This Sunday we’ll cover the rest of John 14 in which Jesus promises to ask the Father to send the Helper, the Spirit of truth to his disciples. Much of John 14–16 will focus on the role and purpose of the Holy Spirit in the lives of believers. This is a rich segment of John!

Wrestle with the passage yourself before Sunday. Invite an unbelieving or unchurched friend. Pray for God to do wonderful things among us! 

One last thing—we’ve had a great week of VBS at the church. THANK YOU to our many volunteers who have served the children so well! You are the best! May the Lord bear eternal fruit in the lives of these young hearts.
