Regret, Resolve and the Gospel
Dear CrossPointe,
I hope and trust you all had a wonderful Christmas and are looking forward to the new year! In one sense, I look forward to the fresh start and hope a new year brings, but I also wrestle with regret over my shortcomings in the previous year. I find myself fluctuating between regret and resolve. In January we’ll pick back up in our study of Mark, but on this last Sunday of 2012 I want us to take a look at how the gospel should inform our regret over the past year and our resolve for the new year. We’ll look at a number of Scriptures, but to prepare your heart and mind for Sunday take some time to read the following verses:
Psalm 103
2 Corinthians 5:21
Philippians 3:12-16
See you Sunday!
Brad
