The Promised Inheritance

Dear CrossPointe,

Our text this week is Hebrews 9:15–26. It’s a continuation of the author’s look into what Jesus has done in the heavenly sanctuary to inaugurate the new covenant by his blood and all that entails for his people. As I’ve been saying a good bit recently, these are deep theological waters, but they are clear waters if we take the time to swim through them slowly. So once again, let’s roll up our sleeves and revel in this glorious picture of Christ appearing in the presence of the Father on our behalf.

We’ll also come to the Lord’s Table together this first November Sunday. What a great passage for us to consider before we do so.
