“Raised for Our Justification”

Dear CrossPointe,

Praise the Lord! He is Risen! While we celebrate the work of Christ every Sunday at CrossPointe, I’m particularly looking forward to exalting the life, death, and resurrection of our King this weekend. In the Lord’s strange providence, during this time when we can’t physically gather together, there’s a good possibility that more people, not less, will hear the Good News of the Gospel.

Our text this resurrection Sunday is short and to the point. Romans 4:25 says that Christ “...was delivered up for our trespasses and raised for our justification.” Pray for me as I seek to simply and clearly explain the gospel from this text in a way that will edify the church and be a witness to unbelievers tuning in. On that note, I encourage you to share our live-stream or “invite” a friend that doesn’t yet believe to watch our service this Sunday. Pray the Lord will open the eyes of the blind. Pray anxious believers will be strengthened. Pray we will grow in grace.

Also, we will post a short Good Friday video this evening on “Five Meditations on the Cross Christ.” I pray this short video exhortation will encourage and strengthen you.
