“I Will Seek Your Good”
Dear CrossPointe,
I was glad when they said to me, “Let us go to the house of the Lord!” That is the first verse of our text this Sunday, Psalm 122. It will be our first in-person service since March 8. What a few months it has been and continues to be.
This psalm is about what it means to come together and be God’s people, the church. Oh how deeply our culture and this world needs the church and her message. And how deeply we need to hear and act on the truths of this short song, especially the last verse, which ends with a commitment: “I will seek your good.” May the Lord work his will in us as we consider this passage together.
Please be sure to “register” for either the 10:30am or the 5:00pm service. (Click here if you haven’t yet.) Knowing how many are coming will help us serve one another better. For that matter, knowing sooner rather than later is helpful for us as well. Also, as a reminder, for those not able or ready to attend, we will continue to stream the 10:30am service live on Facebook and Vimeo.
I’m looking forward to seeing many of you after these three long months!
Grace and peace,
Brad
