“Jesus, Full of Grace and Truth”
Our text this week, John 1:14–18, contains one of the most beautiful descriptions of Christ in the Bible—“full of grace and truth.” Jesus is both the friend of sinners and the judge of all mankind. He is the merciful healer and the one turns over tables in the temple. He is the helpless babe in the manger and the sovereign Creator of all things. Jesus is the Lamb who takes away the sin of the world and the Lion of heaven. He is indeed full of grace and truth. And from that fullness we have all received, grace upon grace.
I’m looking forward to diving into this beautiful passage together on Sunday. Being the first Sunday of February, we’ll come to the Lord’s Table together as well. Let’s prepare our hearts and minds to feast on Christ together.
Grace and peace,
