Building Up the Body

Dear CrossPointe,

I was so encouraged by Reuben’s message last Sunday from Ephesians 4:1–7 on walking worthy of our calling. It was a clear picture of what the Christian life is to look like. If you missed it, be sure to catch it here.

On that note, we’re going to take a little break from our John series and pick up a little after where Reuben left off with look at Ephesians 4:11–16. This text is one of the most important passages in the New Testament in regards to life in the local church. It’s a description of the purpose of the church and a call for every believer to do their part. I’m hoping this Sunday will help us build up our local body of CrossPointe.
