This Sunday: "Yet I Will Rejoice in the Lord"
Dear CrossPointe,
This Sunday we conclude our study of Habakkuk with a look at chapter 3. In these verses, Habakkuk utters a prayer for God to be merciful and then breaks out into a sort of praise song in which he recounts God’s history of saving his people by his great might and power. All this leaves Habakkuk humbled and quiet, yet confident that God is worthy of his trust and praise. Take some time to read this chapter a few times before Sunday and ask the Lord to speak to us.
Also, parents, the elementary–aged children will be in the sanctuary to worship this Sunday. We do this every few months to give our Kids’ Church team a break, but also to give our older children an opportunity to worship the Lord with their parents.
Grace and peace,
Brad
