This Sunday: Genesis 35-36
This Sunday will present the end of an era: Jacob’s time in the spotlight of Genesis is drawing to a close, and he still has some unresolved issues. (Don’t we all?) Most notably, the vow he made to God in Genesis 28 remains incomplete. Will Jacob go all in and worship the one true God? And after all that took place in Genesis 34, will God even allow it?
Think about these things as you read Genesis 35–36 for this Sunday. My prayer for us is that the Lord will use our time in these chapters to draw us into deeper, more meaningful worship of him alone.
Soli Deo gloria!
