The Kingdom of Heaven Is at Hand

I hope you had a happy Christmas, and as we look ahead to 2024 my prayer is that we as a church would increasingly find our contentment and joy in Christ alone. To cap off the year, I’ll be preaching from Matthew 3:1–12, our introduction to John the Baptist. Much like his cousin Jesus, John is intent on delivering a simple message: “Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.” It seems like a fitting way to close out one year and look to the next by getting down to the basics of life in the kingdom of God.

Give the text a once-over before we spend one more Sunday together in 2023. Looking forward to seeing you all!
