Serving Truth Spring during COVID-19

CrossPointe’s elders continue to monitor the instruction of government authorities and needs of our church body and will reassess plans for future worship services in the next few days. In the meantime, please follow CrossPointe on social media, this website, and future enewsletters for updates.

In order to protect their students, Truth Spring Academy in the Bibb City area of Columbus has closed for the next two weeks, leaving 60 children without consistent breakfast options at home.

You can help by bringing the following donations to CrossPointe Church tomorrow, March 16, between 9am and noon:

  • Dry goods sealed in packaging (bread, cereal, instant oatmeal, granola bars, etc.)
  • Frozen goods sealed in packaging (waffles, biscuits, etc.)
  • Gallons of milk
  • “Tube-style” yogurt (like Go-gurt)

CrossPointe’s pastors will deliver these goods to Truth Spring Academy Monday afternoon so that volunteers there can assemble take-home breakfast kits, which parents will pick up on Tuesday. (Please note that Truth Spring students and siblings will be receiving lunch from nearby Fox Elementary.)

We will continue to send updates about ways we can serve our community in the coming weeks as we assess needs.
